Aerolift Patent BV
Aerolift Patent BV is the inventor of the patent protected Venturi Wind Turbine (see above picture on the left).
Conventional windturbines create a diverting
windflow through the turbine.
The result is that the theoretical maximum efficiency is 59% (Betz law).
Because of its special aerodynamic behaviour,
Venturi Wind Turbines, create a windflow pattern that converges first.
Wind tunnel studies at the Technical University of Delft in 2003, have
demonstrated that a two blade Venturi Turbine has a measured efficiency of 79%
and a three blade Venturi Turbine has a measured efficiency of 85%
This break through technology has many advantages:

This unique aerodynamic concept has been patented worldwide.
Aerolift Patent BV has demonstrated this in several of its prototypes for micro wind turbines that are now undergoing field trials. The first production series will probably be available in 2005 to selected customers.

Satellite Turbines are Very Large Wind Turbines up to 10 MW or above that take advantage of the same aerodynamical priciples and patents as the Venturi Wind Turbines. Satellite Turbines offer additional advantages.The intensity of the venturi effect is added as an additional variable which can optimize efficiency. The principle layout can be seen on the above picture on the right hand side.
